There's some lounge stuff worth checking out on the compilation released last year if anyone is interested:

The cool thing about these lovelies is that I do not really mind what they're going to play live next week when I see them. They've got a huuuuuuuuuge discog (some 250+ songs?) and nearly all of it is super good and would probably be very nice in a live setting.

I've had a look at the likely setlist in advance Trif. Certainly a smorgasbord of the lab. When are you seeing them? Glasgow is the 29th.

‘This came out on the same day as Homogenic’

Really? Fuuuuuuck, now that’s what you call a release day! I’ve never taken any notice to the exact dates before.

This remains my fave lab and I’m almost definitely underrating it (once it was ETK, forgot about that).

Oooooh yeah that sounds super good! A smorgasbord would be lovely. I'm seeing them in Amsterdam next week, on Tuesday. Can't wait, it'll be my first time 😍

And I agree Demon, when the mood strikes it's time to reconsider that rating. All in due time of course.

Also popping my Stereolab cherry. My last scheduled gig this year after many long awaited gigs which started in May with something very different in the form of Meshuggah.

Oooooh nice! I saw Meshuggah on that tour too 💚 You have good taste!

I'll be seeing The Gathering for my last show this year, next Saturday! A busy programme with Opeth only hours ago hahaha!

Busy schedule indeed Trif. How was Opeth? Was it more towards the progressive death metal side or the regular prog side? Last I was at was Crowbar earlier this month and next after Stereolab I have is Gojira in February.

That's a nice schedule as well!

It was their 32nd anniversary tour, they played one song per album and we could vote which ones they had to play. Of course Black Rose Immortal won hahahaha 💚

using this in conjunction with COFFEE as a warm blanket on a cold morning has almost become something of a ritual for me, I just live inside for a while. COMFY.

I should probably give more time to Sterolab’s other material, but the temptation to return here is currently proving too tempting
