i've been to 2 live shows in my life, one was that dead nu metal band called dope and i was like 14 so i wasn't so insecure yet and i just jumped in the pit with all the dudes and someone hit me in the nose with an elbow and i started bleeding but continued slammin and shit and the other was a russian abstract hip hop act like a year ago i went to see them with my friends and we just stood near the bar and i was really insecure so i didn't even raise my hand when everyone was like f yeah hip hop

Ofc it sounds silly if you are not affected, but I would suggest that you just go to the gigs. I can imagine that you get a lot of security while being part of the crowd and just get one with the music
