The Makaveli record is much darker than this. Aside from a few exceptions, its awash in brooding, dark melodies, and doesn't have any of the West Coast Gangsta vibe that is everywhere on this album. Both are classics.

Disc 2 is just so good. Disc 1 gets so rocky towards the end from No More Pain to Tradin War Stories and dre's vocals on California Love are pretty annoying a lot of the time. After dre's verse to the end of the disc is just awesome though.

Also I can't help but love California Love being from Cali. Especially when dre goes "Sacramento, Sacramento where you at" and Pac goes "from Oakland to sactown the bay area and back down" (if you can't tell Im from/live in sac)



But dre's performance in his verse is just Eww

Holla At Me is probably my 1 tho. That song is just so hypnotizing with the beat, the lyrics, pacs overall performance, the background vocals, the chorus. Everything about it is just perfect and fuckin crazy and ahhhhh
