I just saw Thrice last night. The contrast of the old songs compared to this new album are glaring. Does anyone else wonder if this album is Thrice's response to still not garnering mainstream attention with their last two records? While hearing the new songs live I kept thinking about how songs like Black Honey are high quality radio hard rock type songs. Not anywhere on the level of their older material, but I could see it attracting many new fans. How can a band with so many rocky anthem songs not garner more mass appeal?

Black Honey is one of the offical songs for the WWE Money in the Bank PPV, and that's pretty cool. It's a great choice actually.

Salt and Shadow is great. I only really like that one, The Long Defeat, Hurricane and The Window. The rest range from meh to bad.
