Boney dude i don't disagree with you there......feels like a comp......75% of these songs already existed to my understanding and they're in alphabetical order......not very creative in my opinion.....absolutely love decks dark, ful stop, and present tense as stand alone songs though

I can agree the alphabetical order thing is kinda strange, but I think's it's more meant to make people overanalyze the album, the band playing a sort of joke to see what theories they can make people come up with - and it seems to have worked, because people are talking about it so much.
Heck, for all we know they did the tracklist and then named the songs later. As far as I can tell, only four of older songs here existed under the same names before the release of this album. Maybe they sequenced the album, realized that some of the songs happened to be in alphabetical order, then renamed the rest later. Most of the songs' titles don't even appear in the lyrics, so it's entirely possible that they were named with the intent of fitting alphabetically in the tracklist.
Personally I think the album flows fine and people wouldn't even really be commenting on the flow if not for the apparently contrived tracklist.

On their website it says the special edition will have two CDs, "one with the album and one with two extra tracks". It doesn't say anything about a revised tracklist.

Decks Dark is definitely a standout. Loving the atmosphere so far. Is it just me or does anyone else feel this sounds like a more logical continuation after OK Computer rather than Kid A?
