Staggeringly good. I wouldn't say better than Colored Sands, as I feel there are marked contrasts between the two - but it is absolutely superb in every conceivable way. I was very much taken by surprise at the beauty and ferocity in some of the passages, and I've listened enthusiastically to everything 'Guts has released. Can't wait to hear where they go on the next full length.
Time for play-through number 100.

Hi Luc Lemay you don't have to post on sputnik to get people to like your shitty album. They'll still buy the older releases.

What are your oppositions of the album, User?

--preface-- i dont really care enough about this album to "argue," so don't let it negatively affect your thoughts on the album. just dismiss stuff if you disagree
I just find it very stale. they built it up emphasizing that it is a single song, but I find that it's structurally unsound and not all that cohesive. I also think it's just not very dynamic nor really all that exciting. even during the "objectively" dynamic parts (eg your basic soft-->loud) it doesn't seem like the...flow? of the music really mirrors that. like, I can tell that one part is soft and one part is loud, but the importance of that difference just doesn't really strike me. yes, these parts are different, but it doesn't really matter because my aural reactions are exactly the same.
