I need to re-listen to this with fresh ears, I remember listening to it back when it came out and thinking it sounded the shittiest possible ripoff of Dave Fridmann-style psych pop, but thinking back this uh, isn't psych pop at all? And idk how the notion that it was got in my head?

Music of The Spheres is better than this trash. Only reason I have this at a 2 is because Hymn For The Weekend is actually a decent jam. But this album is depressingly boring.
