Yeah they're super cool too, if they're playing a small venue usually they will just chill outside after the concert and chat with fans. I even got to go up to them after their set and shake Joe's hand while he was packing shit up. Guy is probably one of the best bassists around right now.

Almost as cool as when I slapped Tesseract's guitarist over the back as he walked off stage and said "YOU KILLED IT MAN WELL DONE!!!" and then he said "thanks bro!" instead of having me kicked out.

i mean i remember when i thought stuff like this was boring too, but the bassist and drummer of this band are two of the best in modern metal and seeing them live changed my whole opinion on them

definitely music for musicians

Yeah I can see why some people aren't liking this, it's nothing new for them. "Fast Worms" is basically akin to Tool's song "Vicarious" in that it walks every single path they've treaded for years and is nothing more than just a REALLY AWESOME demonstration of what they're about. That's basically the theme of this entire album for me. It's like Intronaut being the best version of themselves.

I love that you liked this Mongi, but I still can't forgive you for that Dead Letter Circus rating you gave out earlier this year. =[ That made me sad

I mean, I get the "music for musicians" thing but I am one myself and I still don't find it all that fascinating here.

I don't love technical shit either but there are exceptions and this is one of them. It strikes the perfect balance.
