“You Will Not Take My Heart Alive” is stunning. It might be my pick from this now. Middle segment of Goose Eggs thru to Divers is possibly strongest overall
Starting to feel I ‘only’ have this at 4 due to it being her third best album.

You Will Not Take My Heart Alive was the immediate highlight here for me but I'm now settling in with the entire run to the end from that track being the strongest. There's still the t/t and a few before it that I love too. Can see myself spending a while with this before going back and trying to digest Have One On Me in full.

Ys DOESN'T have a harp on it, wat m8? (okay I checked, how bizarre to assume such things... association is funny)
I'd say this is arguably (is it?) her most digestible release zak, if that helps. A relatively high amount of variation, no insane runtimes (individual songs or in 'total), her least 'shrill' vocal performance (although personally Have One On Me is similar) and arguably her most immediate, catchy hooks

I need some some more DIVERSity in my ratings this year. Lol. Doing a discog run of hers after only knowing Ys, this was so good, so much more DIVERSe in instrumentation.

Oh she's definitely going to come back, her lyrical style lends itself to post-natal creativity, she'll come back with possibly her best ever album. I bet she has three albums worth of songs ready to go already.
