Since they don't seem to give shit about good distribution, a sudden release doesn't seem improbable. That would rule.

Love these guys. A new album would be freaking dope, especially a surprise album

i couldve sworn they made a tweet a while ago announcing a new album was on the way, the cover art was like a big pool of water and the band name was in a cool font.

"The media could not be played.
Fuck is it, Ferro?"
Whoops, sorry! It's a teaser for a new song that's going to be premiered on BBC1 Radio tomorrow!

Not as good news as a surprise album drop.
Though my backlog is pretty heavy right now, I don't mind waiting a few months for the followup to my AOTY 15

checked this out because of new album hype and not really feeling it. reminds me of fun's aim and ignite in that it's immediate and sugary but lacking in nutritional content. maybe it will grow on me though!

The music is sugary but the themes/mood/lyrics are pitch black and deeply cynical

Make sure to pay attention to the lyrics, they're a big part of the appeal of the record. Might be the nutrition you're looking for ;]

Grew on me hard.

This album's nutritional content is exhausting existential and political angst.

Not a bad song on here. Though favs are Get to Heaven, To the Blade, Zero Pharaoh, No Reptiles, and Regret if I had to narrow it down... which I don't...

you've heard the bonus tracks, right? they're on par with the rest of the album without a doubt.

Nope never actually did. But I believe it since they are clearly naturally gifted songwriters. So I guess those are another few songs I have to check out!
|
| |
Ye. We Sleep in Pairs, Hasburg Lippp, and Only As Good As My God are on par with the best of the album.

Yeah the bonus tracks are great.
If I had 2 issues with this album, it would be that 'Warm Healer' feels redundant after 'No Reptiles' as a closer, and 'Fortune 500' is maybe a bit too intense for my liking. I could drop both and maybe swap for a bonus track or 2, probably the ones VaxXi mentioned.
