Glad to know there's others who feel the same way. I think a little bit more punch, grit and space would give the album a much more livelier feel...something which I felt every other album had to some degree.

CoL were such a HUGE grower band for me...at first I just couldn't get into them much (my first exposure to the band was at a show which they co-headlined with Katatonia) and while eventually I began to see what's there to like about the band, it wasn't until Mariner that I went to their discog and really got into the band.
