Denser blood flows through the rest of the blood like currents in an ocean of blood. A blood ocean. Bloooood Oceean.

I'm sure the different elements of blood move at different speeds due to density differences.

Unpopular opinion here- Prometheus and Equilibrium are the best Emperor albums. Discuss.

Personally I think that the songwriting and musicianship improved significantly as well as obviously the production. I think that because I got into extreme metal during the turning point of production for the genres when they stopped being so DIY I find the older rawer material less engaging.

Welllll... eh... If you said Anthems I'd understand your opinion more, but they are all so very different, I can understand you liking the others more. But you're really comparing apples and oranges between Nightside and Prometheus. The reason Nightside is so important to me because of its haunting, yet ethereal, atmosphere. The vocals and the synths just harmonize so well together, and there really was nothing on the same level before it. It is the perfect example of what symphonic black metal should sound like. It's majestic and triumphant, yet frostbitten and grim.

They are, but their impact on the metal scene pales in comparison. I love both those albums don't get me wrong. I would melt if I saw Sworn live.
