I don't have a whole lot of experience with atmospheric black metal (or black metal in general tbh) but I'm really loving this.

Great album, was perfect the day I realized I had the due date for a giant essay wrong and had to write it in 24 hours while studying for a final. The epitome of despair.

When are you looking to get the next one out Noctus?

Really? I feel like most of this has the tempo for a slow, mournful walk

"misty oak forest"

oh well that explains it. I'm feeling an atmospheric/Cascadian/DSBM black metal binge coming on, took a walk listening to Ifing last night and was convinced my apartment was a castle ripe for raiding when I got back home

most likely next year, it's going to take a lot more work than this one did as i'm insisting on a lot more real instrumentation this time around

hahaha not sure about that one

album is 90% written so i'm not sure there's space for dulcimer

looking forward to the harp (if i can find someone who fucking plays it) though

i'm actually going to be submitting a form which means i stick to less hours at work so i have more time for recording pretty soon

as long as i'm earning just enough to scrape by i'd rather be doing something i enjoy rather than slaving away in a call center for most of the conscious week

btw vinyl for this is coming out pretty soon, recording a bonus track for it soon [:
