Ancestral and the ending ballad are my favorites, they were amazing live too.

Routine is definitely the major standout for me here. Home Invasion and Regret #9 are excellent in my opinion, my only complaint is the inclusion of the metal riffs that break the perfectly established rhythm of the album.

Choccy baby you know I love you but you couldn't be more wrong. 3 Years Older is great and the other three around it are good, but Routine and Home Invasion are where things really get cookin'

While Home Invasion isn't nearly as interesting and powerful as Routine, Ancestral, 3 Years Older and Happy Returns, I think it definitely stands out as the most fun and musically amusing track of the album. The Würlitzer keyboard-driven verses are brilliantly groovy and entertaining

"3 Years Older" would be decent if it wasn't such a shameless "The Cinema Show" rip-off.

the best song on the album is that one with guthrie govan on it because it makes you forget the fact this is a steven wilson album if for a moment

This is DVD quality stuff. I've never seen SW been this annoying between songs, a bit too pretentious and patronising

@Omair I don't know, I didn't mind most of his interventions, despite some unnecessary talking at times. But I've always taken his pretention humorously

I know he has a good sense of humour, and when PT was alive I didn't mind any of the stuff he said. I enjoyed his stage antics. But now as he gets deeper in his solo route, I don't know I just notice the pretentiousness more. I hardly watch any of his interviews now for the same reason. I think his inflection really makes him sound patronising.
