Yeh dev knows a lot more about dnb than I do

In fact you'd be hard pressed to find any facet of electronic music I know better than he does

So essentially your argument, as I see it, boils down to:

a) pop music is inherently worse than the music I listen to

yes

b) the place on which you explain why, exactly, you like the pop music you listen to is irrelevant because I have deemed myself superior and nothing can change that

I don't understand why this needs to be explained. You are a music critic; your title here is Staff. You should be trying to make yourself stand out. If you listen to the same dumb shit as every 14 year old, what makes your writing any different from what they scribble in their nightly diary?

c) though my one current rating, which is a passive-aggressive 1'ing of Flylo because that'll show those moron staff who decided to put that album #1!, doesn't actually provide any sort of counterexamples to your clearly inferior taste, I'm still superior because LOGIC

You know as well as I do that that's called trolling. Hell, then again maybe you don't.

d) I don't even have to argue my case because I'm so clearly right that all I have to do is call you a hack and a moron and then I win, also because LOGIC

I've already stated my criteria for reaching this conclusion. You've yet to form an original response to my presentation of data.

But please correct me if I'm at all misinterpreting your thought process

At this point what don't you misinterpret?

someguest for staff 2015

no seriously if you apply I'll definitely put in a good word for you. "hey Jom someguest has great taste in music you should promote him." "but he has no ratings so we have no idea what his taste in music is other than through his complaining" "that's how you know it's good"

There's no way in hell that this album can be remotely bearable.

honestly this and 1989 are both of similar quality

Agreed, though 1989 is slightly less insufferable with two decent songs at least.
