Anyone missing the bass playing on this needs to check out Nuclear Power Trio
Instrumental band with a comedy gimmick but holy fuck they shred. One of the best instrumental metal EPs I've heard in a while. Same bass player as on this album and he kills it.

Lol their president gimmick is hilarious but man are they proficient at their instruments. I thought that EP was excellent and highly recommend it for some good tech

Deathcore is tricky for me. I have only found a few albums in the style that I like
I have found more bands that do a kinda of melodeath style core that I enjoy, like Darkest Hour and Heaven Shall Burn
I kinda prefer my death metal with a proggy vibe to it. Atheist be one of my favorites
