Now they just need to get rid of the vocalist...

His vocals and lyrics are so cringe-worthy. It's like a false-release of akwardly-forced juvenile
anger.
Seriously, the high schoolers must love it. He'd be better off just doing cleans. This might be my
first time
ever liking an albums instrumentals more than the ones with vocals.

Every song is okay while he's singing fast enough or it's drowned out by the rest of the band, who
sound
really, really neat.

But then they veer into laughable breakdowns, with this guy straining his voice unnecessarily to say
things
that amount to "DIS ANGER IS MOINE AND MOINE ALONE IVE GOT 2 ACCEPT DIS RESPONSIBILITY" and shit
like that.
Goddamn, dude, I'm alone in my car listening to this and I have to fumble with my phone and change
the song
because it's so bad.

So torn. Guilty pleasure if there ever was one. The vocals and lyrics are cringeworthy and it's
sometimes WAY
overproduced to Born of Osiris levels of cringe.....but then the bounciness and punch of the guitars
and bass
drum pull me back.

It also appears editing a post adds really weird line breaks that I can't see or remove in the
editor, just in the post.

I definitely agree that his lyrics have always been bad, but the actual vocal performance here is actually pretty damn good. I never much cared for him in the past but I think he kicks quite a bit of ass on this release.

The vocals are a highlight for this album

I like how raw and unpolished they sound, definitely a huge differentiation from other metalcore bands

Wish I could hear what you guys are hearing

Because to me the vocals sound like monotone bullshat.

Then again I could see how they could be the "highlight" for this album because the tone of the instruments are fucking terrible

What the hell is up with the production? Everything sounds so damn... plastic? Too bad, because the music itself is surprisingly good.

That's what everyone seems to be saying. I never jammed any of their previous albums though and I thought this was shit.
