and in this comparison, now i think about it, "hold on" and "flight" serve essentially the same purpose. interesting

Bones is still my shit. That melody with those vocals have such despair and leaves a chill up your spine.

Not gonna lie, I've been really hesitant to jam this because the whole idea of a pseudo-country album produced by (much less written by) Devin Townsend sounds like the exact opposite of awesome, and I'm a casual fan of Townsend's last few albums minus Epicloud

@wwf Dude, I was the exact same. I dislike country normally, but this is something quite extraordinary in comparison. The production really brings it to life and while it sounds gimmicky at first, it'll surprise you

A very soothing, very relaxing album, as well as I expected it to be. I can't really pick out any obvious flaws here, because I don't think there are any, although the shorter "interludes" as I like to call them don't really do much in terms of consistency. What I loved the most here is how Devin and Aimée's vocal collaboration works wonderfully well, and for me personally, is one of the more interesting aspects of the album. My personal favourite tracks would be "Flight" and "The Bridge".

The great thing, is that they collab their voices in more than one way. Like the haunting breeze of devin's voice backing Che's in Daddy works so well

The two bonus songs from the USB, "Cold Feet" and "Thing" are cool.

I have been listening to this at my desk every day for the past week. i think parts of it are brilliant, great changes, interesting chord progressions and melodies.
