This album really deserves a higher rating than Recovery and Encore. It is simply a lyrical

slaughterhouse and Eminem covers a wide range of topics with solid diversity. The worst thing people

have been able to say about this album, is with regards to the production, which I honestly enjoy

thoroughly.

5/5

Yeah the production isn't bad it just takes some getting used to, it has that funky/corny 80s sound to it, especially on tracks like Bezerk.

Headlights is a terrible song, the chorus and beat drown out any genuine emotion Em had with his

verses/lyrics in an ocean of cheese

This is kinda underrated, it has some really great tracks, and Bad Guy is a classic.

I'd hate to be the bad guy, Hill, but there's lots of crap on this album. It is inconsistent as hell.

Bad Guy and Rap God are his two best songs in literally forever (aka since The Eminem Show). Seriously legendary songs. I feel like if he just took more time and followed the same strategy he aimed for with those, we coulda had something truly special here.

But...I loved this. First half is pretty damn good, anything after Brainless is NOPE

Evil Twin and Headlights are pretty dope, but other than that it's all a mess.

The standouts for me are Bad Guy, Rhyme Or Reason, Brainless, Rap God, Headlights, Love Game (Em's flow on this track is absolutely amazing), and Evil Twin.

Definitely some bad shit on here, that kendrick lamar song is terrible, but the good heavily outweighs

the bad

then again I usually rate albums in that manner cus I just 4 or 5 star my favorite songs in itunes and

listen to a 4 or 5 star playlist, so the bad songs dont bother me at all and dont really affect my

rating
