chan is on top of things. in other news, a couple of my friends want me to go with them to the tour dragonforce is on. apparently slipknot and underoath are along for the ride on some dates.

Underoath is terrible live, and slipknot aren't that great from what I hear.

Slipknot plays pretty well live, but Corey's scream is blah, probably because he'd loose his voice by the third song.

Disturbed put on a good show live.

Dragonforce I wouldn't know, though I've heard they don't sound nearly as tight live as on their albums.

^they make up for it by having fans blow their hair back while they solo on stage.

And you go "OH MY GOD SUPER FAN", and it completely distracts you from the fact that you are paying even more money to hear the same song played 5 times.

they do look godly doing solos with the fan though

with the amount of money most major label acts have it's no surprise...
now look at some old pavement videos where they have no functional mikes. thats a show

You know it's popular to hate a band when the ratings go from low to mid 4s to mid 3s in a matter of 2 years. 2 years ago, this had around a 4.2 average, SF had a 4.4 average, and VotD had a 4.1 average.

I only liked this album for "Through the Fire And the Flames". Then I heard my friends play it four million times on guitar hero. Now I hate that too.

Through the Fire and Flames is awesome though. I was so proud of myself when I made it through 97% of it on Guitar Hero.

If this band could learn to write more than two songs, they could be pretty freaking awesome.

When I first got into power metal I loved these guys. Now they're just ok. Firewind slays this band though.
