"Who'da thought reggae would of started that"
Who would've thought the internet would make this incredibly stupid mistake of "would of/should of/could of" something common.
(also, anybody who is able to use google)

Well, reggae isn't really popular on this site anyway
most people don't even know reggae originated as a ska subgenre

Wasn't entirely sure of their relation but I knew about it, the sounds were distinctively similar.

wasn't reggae around way before ska?
I don't know much about either genre

I apologize for my excessively tepid grammar

'wasn't reggae around way before ska?'
Actually no, the first wave of ska and its popular subgenre rocksteady dominated the jamaican music scene in the early-mid 60's. Reggae evolved out of that in the late 60's and the ska scene in jamaica kinda died out after that. Ska then got revived in the UK in the 70's, so that was the second wave(the so-called 2 Tone subgenre). And in the 80's the third wave started which is still going strong till today and is mostly dominated by ska punk bands.

Talk about "skintight love".

"Jacob, you're way too 'friendly' (for Sputnik)."
AWWW thank you Wolfie! =']

Fuck those were the funniest lyrics I've ever heard. There hasn't been a comedian alive who can come up with witty clauses like 'I'll wear your skin as a slut!'
|
| |
Why are you thanking me? I just criticized you (kind of).
"'I'll wear your skin as a slut!'"
suit, can you not read hot dayum.

Damn, everytime I heard the term ska used was for that kind of punk/reggae hybrid (which I guess is actually ska punk). Had no idea it went that far back
