Was so hyped to hear this, got a hype overdose with a subsequent lapse to ignorance. This record didn't provoke fuzz in my funny places. It merely kept me awake. Might be the initial rejection, though, maybe it will live up to the title. But other Deftones albums were like love at first sight.

This album is incredible. One of their absolute best albums. Consistent all the way thru and like fuckin' clockwork. I can't believe you people are trashing it. But it's not surprising as Deftones don't have the most intelligent fanbase. There are a lot of cro-magnon knuckledragger holdovers from the rap-metal movement who like them. You know, the kind of people who actually thought Korn, Limp Bizkit, and Papa Roach were good bands.
