This rules. I was pretty sure I liked it better than the debut and after listening again can confirm.

Yeah, it rules really. Interesting you prefer this one to the debut.

It's just more easy and pleasant to listen to

Cat Food is an absolute banger damn

I might prefer this over Court too, Keith Tippett on piano really puts it over the top. absolutely sublime playing on Cadence and Cascade

This one is great and seems underrated in their discog, but preferring it to Court is a no from me dawg

it's not a huge stretch I think, Court is more ground breaking and influential or w/e but this one is a lot more fun to listen to. Cat Food is an absolute banger, Cadence might be their best song and I don't really find myself wanting to skip anything here like I do Moonchild. it's probably not better but I def prefer listening to it most times

I can see your point and, somehow, I can agree with you.

Yeah I'm ngl, Moonchild is a pregnant pause on Court. The most infuriating thing is the first couple minutes are actually really good, but then the rest of the song happens

This is surprisingly great. Seems pretty unremarkable at first listen, and in many ways it does feel like a repeat of Court, but the Peace motif (I rly love Peace - An End, even tho it's less than 2 mins) and Cat Food distinguish it enough.
