like why bother comparing a record that just came out to a classic? i mean status-wise they'll never be the same, and we, even if subconsciously, think of these records in different ways. c4c would have to be significantly better than fandam to get the reaction that it's better. it's a great record, that's it, comparing it with his debut before letting the dust settle is bound to be unfair to the new record.

if you had said c4c is better, that might be an interesting discussion, but as it were saying that a classic is better than a record that just came out isn't particularly interesting
