Do you like talking to people who are really fucking boring? Do you enjoy speaking to walls?

Eggxactly. See? I mean, it isn't detrimental to the site at all but it's pretty pointless. I'd rather discuss why someone likes x song more than the others rather than "THIS IS THE RANKING FOR THE ALBUM" knawmeen bruh?

The songs with Andy Hull sound like something off Simple Math, but I can't tell if it's because of his vocals or the bands sound on those songs in general. Not the biggest MO fan

Same situation with me. I was never a fan of their older stuff. I do like his performances on here though. This album is too much to take in for me to rate it just yet though

Cept Boards of Canada are boring

These guys would sound so much better without being so clean cut. Not that they sound overproduced, but they sound better when they don't try so hard

Boards of Canada is my sleep music man. How'd you listen to it that made it have a profound effect on you?

Simple math is like a simpler modest mouse with less groove. That said, the opener is one of my favorite songs of the year.

Well to be fair, I only like one album from MM and MO each, so I can't have much input on that.

'Simple math is like a simpler modest mouse with less groove.'

Whoa. I've really liked Manchester's past two discs but get put to sleep by pretty much everything Modest Mouse have done.

I don't think, for the average person, that the point of ranking things is to be insightful, interesting, or fun, rather than just contributing an opinion.

hmmmm so youre saying it's worthless mkay

Well the eps are only four songs each so it's not much of a stretch to discuss the eps themselves either.

Personally, I feel like Indigo is just Casey singing over Boards of Canada songs but that doesn't make it any less awesome

yeah ranking eps =/= discussing them

like going x>y>z

NO

z>y>x

NO FAGGOT

y>z>x

isn't worthwhile at all

i guess the reason i ranked them here was because each ep sounds so different from the other. so people saying which ep is their favorite gives a pretty good insight on their own tastes and how people who like all sorts of music could like this. and i thought this was a site to discuss music so i just fuckin went for it.
