I'm perfectly fine with the lyrics to Glory Hallelujah as well... people have no problem with Christian rock lyrics, it's fine to have some that are the other way around.
The message of the song is actually really positive. The first verse is kind of lame, but other than that the 2nd and 3rd verses are excellent.
Plus, I love how it sounds like the lame songs I used to have to sing in sunday school.

Yes. You do need to see him live. I took that video. Fighting back tears the whole time. Glory Hallelujah and I Still Believe were just too fucking good live. As was Long Live The Queen.

Ha. Seriously. This city sucks for live music.
Aside from Bluesfest, we're lucky to get more than 5 good shows a year. Although Do Make Say Think at Maverick's in '07 was probably the best show ever.
I'm hoping the crowd knows the lyrics to this guy's songs better than I do so they drown out the jibberish that I'll be singing.
