Man I wish I could see KsE's AOJB tour. Fingers crossed for a sidewave in Feb since I won't be seeing them at Soundie.

Yeah, they're great jams, but they're a bit watered down compared to the rest of the album. And I don't even mean less heavy, just less conviction and dynamic.

Shadows Fall were kind of boring when I saw em live but I'd kill to see KsE, especially with Jesse back.
That said, Times of Grace were beautiful when I saw em, so I'm 3/5 the way there I guess.

Just listened to this again after a few months of pretty much no KsE. I'm happy to say this album is still a badass classic.

Periphery is playing with KSE as well

The Just Barely Breathing Demo from 1:20 to the chorus sounds like it could have came off of Slipknot's
self-titled. Don't know why that popped into my head.

So I havent been too into Killswitch for a good while. But they were one of the first heavy bands I got into back in the day. And while my tastes have grown over the years I probably wouldn't be where I am with music without this album. I'm going to see them play it tonight and I've been listening to it all day. And I can honestly say it still rips. Probably one of my favorite metal albums ever.
