I love this shit, it's loud and noisy and obnoxious and has lots of almost punk-ish gang vocals but that's why I love it. This is one of the darkest, funkiest, angriest, creepiest, catchiest damn experimental hip hop albums I've heard in a long time. This is pretty much just what I've been looking for, a punk rock aesthetic for hardcore rap with dark beats sampling old punk and 60s garage rock songs. I recognize so many of the samples on this thing and it's brilliant. This is only slightly below the Bad Meets Evil album so far for best hip-hop of 2011 for me. This isn't for everyone but if you like punk and hip hop then I think you'll really fuckin' like this.

it's only obnoxious or abrasive in the sense that you're constantly aware while listening to this that the guy is a terrible mc and the cool choice of sampling is going to waste
