not as retarded as someone giving this a 4.5

Album Rating: 4.5
the 1.5 is only in comparison to the classic ATG
so that means your ratings for an album are only in comparison to your ratings for their other albums?
so that means that if you rate a band's album a 4 and their next album is almost as good, it can't be a 4 because you already rated one of their albums a 4 right?

a bit hasty with your assumptions and generalizations. who said anything about anything? sputnik's just a game anyways.
and your inquiry is just plain imbecilic. if you'd even look at my other ATG ratings alone, you'd see that that clearly isn't the case. what sense would that even make, anyways?
bottom line, this album showed a band which was once one of the most innovative, twisted, psychedelic metal forces turning into a stale archetype for the downfall of metal. thus my 1.5
what i meant by "in comparison to other ATG albums" is that despite all the things i say about the album, it still kicks the crap out of any of the garbage classified as "metal" today, i just feel that they slaughtered the soul of At the Gates in the process of making it.
