While I do love this album, it's very top-heavy
Like the best songs on the album are the first 4
|
| |
if it weren't for the fact that track 5 is head and shoulders the best thing to come out of this project I'd agree. album after that is a snooze aside from the closer

I actually don't care about the closer at all
2nd worst song on here tbh
A piano ballad about his mixed feelings about NY? I'll pass

While I do love this album, it's very top-heavy
i wouldnt say that. for me the bit between Friends and New York is the album settling into a nice groovy mood after the big singalongs (Scum, Friends) and the downer (Great). i just ride that shit all the way to New York. the three songs there arent my faves but i dont feel that they're much of a drop off at all
come on y'all srsly cant get behind Us v Them?

Us v Them is kinda like One Touch from This Is Happening, it goes on WAY too long for its own good, but it starts off great
|
| |
Someone Great is my fave too, musically deep and lyrically crushing
best of both worlds
|
| |
agree about Us v Them Ars

Someone Great is tied with I Can Change for my fave LCD song
I honestly don't like the title track here very much. Feels like Get Innocuous' boring cousin

Album Rating: 4.5
I like that one, but I guess it isn't a highlight
Only ones I have a problem with are Us v Them and New York, I Love You but You're Bringing Me Down

"agree about Us v Them Ars"
And the worse part is that One Touch, despite sharing the same problem, is a better song
