its an awesome band...i really dont see how so few people have listened to them...if ur a fan of daryl's voice and some funky r&b mixed wtih scatered screams and death growls...then jacobi wichita is perfect for you

i'm glad i didn't bump this to a 4.5 coz it's really good but now that more time has passed i can see clearly that it's no more than a super solid 4.

i mean when i first got into this it almost felt like 5 material for a while but idk, its weird how sometimes stuff i dig the hardest ends up fading away the fastest. not sayin this isn't still excellent, but it's not the life-changer it felt like. i mean listening to my 4.5s makes it clear albums like this one don't belong in the same category.

for sure man, i've had to retract 5s before because i just become overly infatuated with something and play it until it loses it's value. i did that to the first half of the mars volta's discog and the fall of troy's doppelganger, they still have high rating because they had such a profound impact on me and my developing tastes when i first fell for them, but at this point they offer only a tiny fraction of the power they used to have due to sheer number of plays.
