i dont think i ever understood this album's influence tbh. good album, but hardly listen to it

It was one the first albums to really use rock instruments to focus on texture and atmosphere rather than hooks and riffs.

'when you sleep' has a great hook and at the 'when i look at you' part of the verses it has this really nice full sound but then the melody and chords dont go where i want them to go and it loses steam
