What I love about this album is how many things it does at once. Drawing from reggae, rap and punk, it made a unique blend of sounds.



Although I believe quite a few other bands were doing similar stuff ofc.

Yeah. I always appreciate a band that mixes genres in ways that were unheard of beforehand, but Sublime is nowhere near the top of that list for me honestly.

Really good album.



Can't believe Nowell thanked Frank Zappa and Jimmy Carl Black on the last track.



Also, it's weird that "Get Out!" was left off later versions due to the Zeppelin sampling of "The Lemon Song", it's a shame

since it's a good song.

Date Rape is funny but not exactly good musically. idk, for me the quality of this is just a steady stream downhill, though the first dozen songs or so are pretty well all winners.
