Touché porch. You're right, that was an inexcusable case of utter stupidity.

This album has obvious flaws and now I understand why people would not like it. That's all I have to say.

remember that time tyraelxy thought people who didn't like this album were just pretending not to like it because they were led astray by sea's review

Did somebody mention The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me?
Oh, must have been a false alarm. Carry on.

... still don't understand Tyrtalleycy's problem with me lol.
he gave me the deepest, most sincere shoutbox apology I've ever witnessed last time he said something dumb, yet he keeps fighting the good fight, what a warrior!
and this: It seems that this reviewer is more disgruntled with what post-hardcore has become and has found memories of what he considers the "glory days." I get the feeling that if Emery's style of post-hardcore was called pop-punk-withheavyposthardcoreinfluence-core or any other random name, the reviewer wouldn't take quite as hostile of a stance to this album. I don't think the rating would change because there are some legitimate gripes that you have with this album, but I feel that the hostility I feel from the review would vanish.
has been said before.
and no.
I don't care what it's called. either way, it takes post-hardcore elements, waters them down, dumbs them down whatever, adds some spiciness a la breakdowns and some faux-emotion. Actually, forget that it even took those post-hardcore elements in the first place (which I dwell on too much in the review anyway), it's still a steaming pile of shit-- it mashes just enough catchiness and scene-iness to appeal to preteen christians who still want to feel rebellious without pissing off Mary and Jesus.
As you can see, I have many opinions about this album that have nothing to do with the music.

eeerrrr if this isn't sarcasm:
Dude, this is not written by some random moron but by SeaAnemone, a respected sputnik authority.
What on earth are you thinking that you even dare to accuse him of such nonsense?
then I don't know what is.

There is no sarcasm on the internet. I was dead serious. If was being sarcastic I would be using a smiley or something.
