@ Davey: I have this but I still need to give it a full listen. Every time I put it on I feel like listening to something else, it isn't really grabbing me.

@lucid: It's more of a laid-back thing for me, listening to it while doing monotonous work, or nothing at all, seems to help the atmosphere. But that's just me. It's worth a full listen.

Dunno what to say Lucidity. I think 'Dead Nationale' is the perfect opener, so if it's not grabbing you, it's not grabbing you. I dunno how you can't like either the guitar or the drums in it, but to each their own.

Marigold is way more epic and awesome than Spanish Sahara. And Past Lives has grown off me a bit over time, when the single first came out I loved it so much.

I can see why some would think that, but it's more like I talk it up as the album of the year thus far, rather than a 5. And just to reiterate what would make it a 5; Take off one of the 2 shorter songs & replace it with both 'A Community Sevice Announcement' & 'Ones Who Fly...' from Boulet's solo LP. I think they could easily be made to fit in without effecting flow too dramatically.



I disagree that 'Marigold' is more epic than 'Spanish Sahara'. Leave it at that.



Alex, you lucky bugger. They need to come back down to Vic. Boulet is even down here playing a solo gig tonight... Why didn't they follow him?
