I used to listen to their first six albums on the bus when I was in high school and this was the only one where the music transported me to some imaginary place. Love the atmosphere on this. Feels very ethereal and otherworldly at times.

Yeah this one sometimes feels like walking through a dirty city with the buildings crumbling around you lol I love how paranoid/catastrophic it gets

I'm tired of people mocking lyrics saying that they could be written by a teenager.
Lyrics can be cringeworthy, sure. They can be bad. Sure. And there are lyrics I dislike on this album.
But I'm tired of the haughty way people use when they criticize them. As if they were so above that kind of things.
It's Korn. It's not directed towards 50yo.
It wasn't at the time, it still isn't.

Complaining about lyrics from a nu-metal band is just silly

Lyrics that sound like teenage poetry are a powerful tool in the right hands
