I like Immolation's other output but don't dig this. His vocals on later releases have a very natural sounding seriousness and anger to them that is controlled. Like when someone calmly says in a serious tone that they're going to fuck shit up, works really well with making their image more attention grabbing. On here he sounds throaty as fuck as too mid range it doesn't do a good job of reflecting the heaviness of the instrumentation.

The drums are way too loud and vocals are way too damn loud, unimpressive and unvaried to be at the forefront. There is basically no sense of things coming together because the vocals barely even feel in place at all, while the guitars sound mixed in a way where they sound limp as hell, completely lose their punch and kind of feel like they meekly back up the drums and kind of just blend in everything sounds so compressed. Also too though it just comes to not enjoying the 'rawness' of it, Majesty And Decay is fairly polished but works so much better for their play style imo.
