The only dt album where the bass is consistently audible and prominent from song to song!

Amen dude! One of their best produced and mixed albums. And it's their most groovy and "fun" album

It’s a shame they never tried to make a “fun” album like this ever again. Scenes kinda has “fun” moments... and all of the Portnoy albums after just got so serious.

Still think that this is one of their better albums. I'd take this over anything post-SDOIT any day.

For sure, in the top 5 for me. I've enjoyed this album from the first listen, with enjoy being the key word here. Probably because I didn't let the hate towards it taint my expectations

If some songs in the first half of the album didn’t sound like they were written overnight, it would be excellent throughout.

Severely underrated DT album.

Album kind of sounds like B sides but it’s uniquely fun and groovy for a DT album as people have mentioned. Production rules too

If they skipped a few tracks and just made it shorter it would honestly be a really good record. Some songs are quite awkward though

it's a shame this is sammiched between two of their best works given its more accessible sound because it's actually pretty solid on its own
