They played live here last night with demon hunter, the bled and... fuck someone else. I was drunk. It was awesome though, much better than I'd expected.

They really get better after every album, you don't see many bands accomplishing that.
Yeah, they're pretty much the "ANTI-FALL OF TROY" when it comes to album progression. AILD gets better over time, TFOT just went down hill after Doppleganger.

No, I actually liked Manipulator (well most of the songs, dark trail still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.), BUT!!!! Manipulator was NO WHERE NEAR as good as Self Titled or Doppleganger.
ITUE was pretty bad though. Only actually enjoyed two or three songs from the album.

AILD is basically a guilty pleasure... Like when I can go for something catchy but doesn't get too crap. They seem like good dudes, and have good potential. Def gonna check this out right now!
