hahaha wasnt that the story about the girl who had like a rash on her face and it ended up being that it was spider eggs in like her face. dude i looooooooooved those books when i was kid, i must have borrowed them from the school library and re-read them like a million times

it started off as a rash but then was a pimple and she was told never to pop pimples from her mom or something but she thought o whats the harm then that happened. best story prob was the scare crow who was always made fun of from the farmer but one day the scare crow came to live and killed the farmer and went on the roof and wore his skin on himself until it melted on him and he became the famer and the skinned farmer became the scare crow. i was like wtf holy shit at the end of that one.

holy shit i remember that scarecrow one, that one was super fucked up! i'm trying to remember more of them, i remember the one with the chick and the escaped convict with the hook hopped in her back seat and a truck was following her and flashing his brights every time the guy would get up to stab her
and yeah those books terrified me at that age
