Just wondering does anyone here have this on vinyl? Was debating buying this on vinyl but not sure what it would be like with the break of having to flip and change records during it. I've had the cd version for years and am just unsure whether any of you guys think it hinders the listen or not?

i have this copy https://www.discogs.com/Sleep-Dopesmoker/release/6722769
the remaster here is better than the original, and flipping a/b/c is totally seamless. works perfectly

Cool, well that sounds good enough to me. Was just a little unsure whether it would be disruptive or not and wanted to hear from someone who has it on wax before parting with my cash. Thanks dude.

best thing about this is how much it works as a song despite the length

i have the 2012 remaster picture disc and flipping does disrupt the experience a little, i think. at least, it does to the extent that i would rather hook my ipod up to the speaker and play thru the full song unbroken. i dont mean to say that the vinyl isn't amazing, because it is (esp. sonically; it sounds fucking massive); i just mean that i think this album sounds best when you take no pauses whatsoever. although the pause resulting from the flipping has a negligible effect on enjoyment, i still think the ability to take no pauses that's afforded by CD/digital copies is preferable, if only slightly moreso.
that said, i still recommend picking up the vinyl. it's good if you're looking for a bit of a change up from the same old CD or digital copy; its a beautiful object even if you don't spin it; and i assume that whichever pressing of the remaster you pick up will sound just as amazing as my copy if you do spin it.
