99% of people at my school didnt know who Queen was. Now thanks to the movie many people will come to appreciate the legend of freddie mercury and the rest of the band Queen. No autotune, no trashy girls. This is the best music

I just don't even understand how fucking brilliant you have to be to write a song like Bohemian Rhapsody. That song will be listened to 200 years from now the same way we listen to Mozart.

I mean it's one of the most acclaimed and beloved rock songs of the entire 20th century, it absolutely will be studied and obsessed over for generations to come. It's literally one of the most timeless rock songs of the 20th century, it charted multiple times decades apart.

And even then, I doubt it. Great rock song though.

I think if someone 200 years from now is making a "Best of 20th Century Rock Music" playlist, Queen is going to be on there at some point, and it's almost certainly going to be their most famous song.

And yeah man of course you've heard it too many times, because it's legendary. I've heard Angel of Death by Slayer 12 trillion times, doesn't make it any less of a banger.

200 years from now people will still wonder what's goes on with "I'm In Love With My Car".

That'd be disappointing. But oh well, who knows?

Most of what queen did was repackage what other people did for a more popular and live audience. They're still talented though, esp mercury.

ELO overall are better, but I'd argue Queen II and Eldorado/Time are just about equally fantastic. Both have astonishingly terrible albums as well, although ELO should garner a bit more recognition for their consistency both with and without Roy Wood.

Is Queen so similar to ELO that you compare the two or is it something arbitrary? Honest question cause I haven't jammed ELO properly.
