They Don't Call It the South for Nothing tho

First two tracks are my favorite by far. Second & Sebring is good but I have no idea why it's so over rated.
Never got the love for Shaley, just another winey scene clean singer. He's good though

always good to hear people calling vocalists "whiny"
Just fuck off with that already

I like whiny vocals though. It's a good way to describe that high pitched sound that early OM&M & The Devil Wears Prada has

"Whiny" has a bit of a personal-attack undertone that I'm not keen on. The logic is that if you like a vocalist that's "whiny" then you must be whiny by default.

Granted, there's other reasons one would have to call me whiny, but I digress.

Shayley's one of the better vocalists of his type. Also OM&M stopped being good after he left

I don't know I've always heard the vocals described that way. Guess I don't take my scenecore that seriously

@William: I dug Restoring Force, thought Cold World was alright for a hot minute, and didn't hate Defy, but yeah those aren't their best works at all.
@ScreamoGaze: Fair enough.

I like Shayley's vocals, but I would never consider him one of the best or one of my favorites.
I honestly never understood why everyone wets their panties over him.

Restoring Force has it's moments & Defy is pretty good even if it is just a retread of Flood & RF

| |
Album Rating: 3.0
Defy's pretty much a watered down Flood/RF mixture.

Restoring Force is ass and Defy is also ass, don't ever compare it to The Flood.

Cold World is the only one I actually dislike. Restoring Force and Defy are just meh overall

Oh and The Flood's deluxe songs without Shaley are the best material they ever put out after this, don't @ me

Pain is really good, especially when Aaron plays it live. Wish CW had more of that

Maybe it's just that Restoring Force was my first OM&M album, but I at the very least dug it pretty hard around freshman-sophomore year. I remember "Another You" was one of my favorites off there.
