no album is more druggy than the korn debut. that is meth in pure musical form

America really. Fuck.

1st album changed the whole game for sure. but this one always sounded way more dynamic and drugged out to me. The guitar playing is way weirder and atmospheric on this one imo and it leans more into hip hop which gives it even more of a avant garde feel

Didn’t even read. Deftones better

Love the dark vibe on this. There is a lot of great songs here and the production gives lends a hand to it's appeal.

Wicked is so stupidly good. That whining guitar, that bass, the vocals, Chino spitting bars, as bad as the whole combo of rap and rock became shit like this reminds me how good of a fusion genre it could be at times in those early days (see: the Judgment Night soundtrack.)

I've come to realise that this is one of their best releases. This and the debut are two of the darkest albums around.

Pure drug-induced-psychosis vibe.

dude right? so much metal obsesses with darkness but not much is near the level of korn's early material
