I feel like it’s unlikely we’ll get some new ‘Vayne just because Ryan is still doing stuff with soften the glare afaik and Greg and Matt have audiotopsy.

I am convinced that Ryan wrote the guitar intro to Scream With Me and not Greg. You all know why.

There's something interesting about this album, most songs doesn't seem that interesting at first, but then they throw something really cool and unexpected in the middle of a track

Been relistening to this a bit more since I saw them live ten days ago. It’s the Mudvayne album I’ve heard the least and have always considered it their worst, but after spinning a few times, had to bump it up from a 3 to a 3.5.
Out to Pasture is one of their best songs period. 1000 Mile Journey and Beyond the Pale are great too.
I’d still probably put it as their “worst” album, but they have no bad albums imo. This one just has a handful of songs that I consider filler basically. A handful of amazing songs dragged down by a few disposable ones. With a few solid ones in between.
I do like The New Game more than most so. Underrated album. Definitely has a handful of disposable songs itself — this and TNG are definitely their two worst — but Fish Out of Water and A New Game are stellar Mudvayne songs. Dull Boy, Have it Your Way (hate how the title makes me think of Burger King though lol — unintentional cringe there) and Do What You Do are solid.

This is actually an extremely accurate description for it.

“I forgot how good Out To Pasture is, easily the best one”
Absolutely. Possibly even a top 10 Vayne song, albeit at the tail end (maybe top 15 to be fair but it’s a fantastic fucking track).
