I used to think the ambient ending of "Reservations" was kind of a lame way to end this album but now I love it so much. It's got a nice meditative beauty to it.

Well for me The Whole Love is nearly as good as their classic trilogy (Being There through YHF), and I agree it did kind of have the feel of a last hurrah for them, but I hope they can return to that level of quality again.

The band have announced a new album called Schmilco will be released this September!

Based on the two new tracks they've released from it this is shaping up to be their weakest album yet but I'll try to stay optimistic.

Give it some time to grow, it's not very immediate and you have to really dig into the lyrics to understand the themes. Of course it may just not be your thing.
