I got this for my birthday today. Only listened to it once, but fuck me, it's good.

This is the most consistent, that's for sure. But there's no matching the raw emotion that Layne brought to the table. That's why it can't even touch previous albums.

yeah but i totally get where you're coming from. high points on s/t and Facelift are much better than the high-points here

Uhm.

If sap were an LP and as consistent as it already is, it would destroy this. The only EP you can use to compare to AiC's LPs is Jar of Flies

I'm starting to believe this is better than S/T but the best songs on S/T completely obliterate this

yeah the s/t seriously has some of the best songs/moments in their discography. i know some people are like "layne's vocals on this album are absolute shit" but i really think they add something to a lot of the songs. particularly one.

This is a very good album by AIC. Almost on par with thier best work, Dirt.

I really, really like the last 3 songs. High quality.

I hate to say it but this is actually more consistent than any of their studio albums with Staley.

Even though Dirt is better, this is probably their most consistent.

Fantastic album, except for "take her out" that I don't really remember all tracks are killers.

And that's right Lesson learned (superb intro) and private hell are great !

What's the best song on this album? I've only heard A looking in view which is really good.
