If I hated both of those albums I'd hate this one less because it isn't trying that fuckin hard.

Judging by this the band should go with a previous idea and just put out singles from now on.

This album does try way too hard. I tried getting into it because I do like all of their previous albums, but I was waiting for a build up, and I didn't get anything from it. It seems as if their balls have been cut off and they writing music not for themselves anymore.

this record is fantastic and completely stands up against the rest of their catalogue. the exogenesis suite at the end is unreal, there is not a bad song on the disc. Muse are deffinately the biggest thing in rock right now and if they keep coming out with gold like this, they will be the biggest thing on rock for a long time. No one comes close.

I really love Uprising off of here, but based on the feedback of the album, the rest isn't good.

Poet, just because the feedback of the album on here is pretty negative, doesn't make the album "not good", but yeah Uprising is probably the strongest track for me too. Clearly, not the best Muse album, but I've seen a lot of positive feedback elsewhere on the internet. It's not a horrible album, but it's not great in my opinion. It's kind of funny that the album sold more than Blackholes and Revelations in it's debut, not like that means it's better, but is somewhat interesting...

Well, that means it's a general consensus.
