4.5 is pretty much inevitable at this point. This has been the only thing I've been listening to for the past few days.

I know indie folk pretty much always bores the living shit out of me, but I thought maybe because it was psych indie folk that I might like it

Scratch that, more boring indie probably exists but I really don't want to hear it

Such a well crafted album. Surprisingly heavy in parts and probs up there with best use of clarinet in indie music. Expected this to be a total sputnik froth album but apparently not.

Daniel Rossen's parts on this are really oversung, kind of turning me off

Ready, Able is probably my favorite Grizzly Bear track of all.

Album Rating: 4.0
I don't really know much that is classified as "indie folk", and Grizzly Bear was completely new to me when I discovered "Yellow House" last year but I loved it after first listen.
Then I tried "Veckatimest" and it needed a few listens but it's excellent in its own way. It's always a good thing when a band avoids the 3rd chorus, and Grizzly Bear does it most of the time.
I'm thankful for every good album that I discover by coincidence.
