If I recall, this record was disliked on release and then slowly became one of their most well-regarded records as time went on. I think the Eclipse > Skyforger run of three records is one of the strongest runs of that decade.

I sorta prefer Thousand Lakes’ sound to this but they’re basically different bands.
I don’t really see the “progressive” tag as fitting but this holds up as a very nice pop-folk-metal album. I’m a sucker for a nice bass-baritone voice in rock as well.
